Averett University recently announced the success of a $25 million capital campaign the school began in 2010. The campaign, which has raised more than $28 million, has funded numerous campus and curriculum improvements. They include construction projects like the Schoolfield House Booksellers, the Violet T. Frith Fine Arts Center, Daly Field and the Frank Fulton Sr. Indoor Batting Cages, and programs like nursing, accounting, special education, criminal justice, equine-assisted psychotherapy and more.
